Dr Edward Anshutz's New, Old and Forgotten Remedies first appeared in 1900. This is an Indian reprint of the 1917 edition.

A modern equivalent would be Frans Vermeulen's Synoptic Materia Medica (Volume 2).

This concentrates on the remedies of the time that had been covered in the journals of the day but had not yet entered the materia medicas.

Bacillinum, Tuberculinum, Bellis, Thlaspi, Malaria Off, Gunpowder and Lactrodectus all get a mention.

Some very interesting remedies such as Skookum Chuck, Onosmodium, Lathyrus, Heloderma, Ceanothus, Lemna Minor.
