Excellent material and EXTREMELY practical.
This particular title is a 1996 reprint of the 1980s originals. Paper quality not as good as the earlier editions. Cover does not match either.
The other books in the series have a superior paper as they are from the 1980s.
Most contemporary students have not heard of Dr Ghegas but it was the visits of this particular teacher along with George Vithoulkas that kickstarted the British homeopathic revival in the 1980s. Despite his sometimes faulty English, Dr Ghegas made his message clear. Some would argue that the recent decline of homeopathy has a lot to do with the lower modern profile of the Greek school. Where the Greek influence is strong , there has been far less of a decline. The Greeks have always urged students to be suspicious of the latest gurus with various new revolutionary approaches. Usually the most predictable thing is that it will be 'revolutionary'.
This book covers:
Case-taking. Patient management. Remedy reactions. Allopathic medication and special diseases. Potencies, cold and warm remedies.
Dr Vasillis Ghegas is probably one of the soundest modern homeopathic teachers in the world today.
Practical Belgian-printed books geared towards improving a busy practice. For a keen student determined to learn fast and get into practice these would work well with Roger Morrison's books. Top notch material.
Volume C on children is especially recommended.
