A new repertory that covers the new and unfamiliar remedies that appear in the two volume Materia Medica of the same series. Every part of the body and mind has a chapter with rubrics in alphabetical order. There are also new rubrics not found in the traditional repertories such as Kent's. The aim is to fill remaining gaps. The practitioner is encouraged to integrate this new material with the old.
The meditative remedies were originally written up in the journal Prometheus Unbound which was started in June 1994. The first two issues were edited by Charles Wansborough and Paul Hughes, ( a good friend who sadly suddenly died in August 2015) with Martin Miles and Janice Micalleff on the editorial board.. The journal would have write-ups and provings of one or two new remedies in each quarterly issue. Prometheus Unbound was not widely circulated and it is Colin Griffith's books that have helped popularise these remedies.
Janice Micalleff was instrumental in organising provings in a circle and Colin Griffith was there from the beginning.
The book is designed in a way for easy use so as to find suitable remedies using both familiar and unfamiliar rubrics. Traditional remedies are also listed for comparison so as to prevent ignoring the obvious old-fashioned choices. The repertory also contains introductory essays to aid use of the book along with how remedies can be associated with particular chakras and miasms. This material was very much a part of the Prometheus Unbound remit. The remedies are also given a basic rundown but a fuller description is given in Colin Griffith's materia medicas
